AP: Legoman jumping THE IDEA: -Finnish has 15 different noun cases, which are inflected forms of a noun. -They are hard to remember and it’s quite hard to learn or understand the idea of the parts of words. In the picture there is an example: Essive: Sairaana (as sick) Sairaana Yoshin haudataan porkkanoihin ja perunoihin. As sick Yoshi is buried under carrots and potatoes.

What did we do? -We (I and Finnish teacher Hanna Rahko) gave students a form, which we filled in together. We used the word ”mopo ”= a moped

Then we formed groups and gave them the task: Make a Powerpoint ”movie”, which is a story, and where every slide presents one grammatical case. First make a plan on the paper Then we made photograph studio where we took photos and then made the slideshow.

How it went? We gave the students lessons’ time for this practise. It was enough. They managed to produce 7-9 grammatical cases. They worked very enthusiastically! We had a film opening festival for them to teach some manners. Fanni, Suvi and Marikki- show…

Paavo ja Minion ovat parhaita kavereita. Paavo and Minion are best friends.

Minionin ja Paavon leikit ovat hauskoja. Minion and Paavo’s games are fun.

Minionia ja Paavoa kiusataan, koska heillä on ärsyttävä nauru. Minion and Paavo are bullied, because their laughter is annoying!

Pupu on Minin ja Paavon kaverina joka leikissä. Bunny is Minion and Paavo’s friend in every game.

Paavo joi taikajuomaa, ja muuttui lehmäksi. Paavo drunk a magic potion, and changed to a cow.

Lehmässä on enemmän tumman keltaista kuin Paavossa. There is more dark yellow in the cow than in Paavo.

Lehmä on hyödyllinen kaveri, koska lehmästä saa maitoa. A cow is a useful friend because you can get milk of it.
