The [Finnish] Act on the Law applicable to International Sale of Goods, 1964 (Act -64) determines the choice of law scope of application: international sales relations limitations: consumer relations, sale of a registered ship etc. CISG concerns the contents of the sales relationship scope of application international sales relations limitations: household goods, securities, ships, electricity etc. Not applicable on contracts of mainly working Kansainväliset sopimukset kalvot 6

EUROOPAN PARLAMENTIN JA NEUVOSTON ASETUS (EY) N:o 864/2007 ( ) sopimukseen perustumattomiin velvoitteisiin sovellettavasta laista (Rooma II) Pääsääntö (art.4) sopimukseen perustumattomaan velvoitteeseen, joka johtuu vahingonkorvausvastuun perustavasta tapahtumasta, sovelletaan sen maan lakia, jossa vahinko aiheutuu, riippumatta siitä, missä maassa vahingon aiheuttanut tapahtuma sattui, ja siitä, missä maassa tai maissa tuon tapahtuman välilliset seuraukset ilmenevät. Jos vastuulliseksi väitetyllä henkilöllä ja vahingonkärsijällä on molemmilla asuinpaikkansa samassa maassa, kun vahinko aiheutuu, sovelletaan tämän maan lakia.
