2 TÄSSÄ ESITYKSESSÄ AYY:n hallituksen esitys edustajistolle AYY:n tavoitteiksi kuntavaaleihin 2017

3 TAUSTAA 1 Hallitusohjelmatavoite: Käsitellään AYY:n kuntavaalitavoitteet 2017 edustajistossa Workshop edarilla maaliskuussa Kuntavaalit keväällä 2017 Tavoitteita käytetään hyödyksi kuntavaaliviestinnässä, joka aloitetaan syksyllä 2016 Hallitusohjelmaprojektina viestintäsuunnitelma kuntavaaleihin

4 YLEISET PERIAATTEET I Päätösdokumentissa ei haeta tavoitteiden perusteluja, ainoastaan linjat Perusteluja ja taustoja avataan suullisesti tässä esityksessä AYYE ei siis päätä perusteluja, vaan ne luodaan tarvittaessa jokaiselle puolueelle erikseen. Tavoitteiden läpimeno tärkeintä. Varsinaiset kampanja- ja lobbausmateriaalit tulevat erikseen kun tavoitteet on päätetty Hallitusohjelmatavoitteena vaalien viestintäsuunnitelman teko

5 YLEISET PERIAATTEET II Vaalitavoitteet on luotu Espooseen Yleiset pääkaupunkiseudun tavoitteet ovat olemassa jo WSC- verkoston kautta Tavoitteissa korostuvat Otaniemen kaavoituskysymykset, joihin vain Espoo voi vaikuttaa Tarkoitus viestintävaiheessa etsiä kaikki espoolaiset poliitikot, jotka tarttuvat meidän tavoitteisiimme

7 HOUSING Espoo has to create a plan with regard to construction of student housing, in which binding targets are defined for the creation of student housing. The quantitative target must be set co-operatively with the AYY and HOAS, taking their ability to produce housing units into account. Espoo will ensure a sufficient number of student residences supported by long interest subsidy loans through planning and handing over of plots in the campus area of Otaniemi or within good transport connections

8 THE PARKING PLACE NORM The parking place norm regarding student housing construction in Espoo is to be one parking place (1 ap)/600 floor square metres (k-m 2 ) within 600 metres of public transport junctions and in other areas 1 ap/500 k-m 2

9 SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT I Espoo is to further the realisation of the Tiederatikka tramline that connects the Espoo and Helsinki college campuses. The City of Espoo is to be involved in supporting campus bicycles in Otaniemi.

10 SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT II Cycling in Espoo must be made as smooth as possible: The Länsiväylä cycling route to Helsinki must be made into a special development target. Street paving borders must not cut into the cycle lane. Cycle paths and routes must go on uninterrupted. The condition and maintenance of cycling routes must be ensured. Cycling is to be examined as a discrete form of movement and it must be separated from walking to its own route. All traffic arrangements must be as clear as possible for cyclists and signage must be good.

11 SUPPORTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN ESPOO Espoo supports the entrepreneurship of students by investing in the development of the T3 area. The voices and proposals of student entrepreneurs are to be heard in the development of the T3 area. Espoo is an attractive and competitive city for entrepreneurs and companies.

12 THE WELL-BEING OF STUDENTS Student healthcare services must continue to be of a good quality after the Finnish healthcare, social welfare, and regional government reform package. The healthcare of university students is to be arranged by the YTHS. Free contraception for all people under the age of 25 in Espoo Young people must be offered both condoms and hormonal contraception free of charge by the public healthcare services.

13 PÄÄTAVOITE Valitaan tavoitteista yksi päätavoite Päätavoitteen ympärille luodaam AYY:n kuntavaalikampanja Muut tavoitteet samanarvoisia keskenään Yritetään saada ehdokkaita sitoutumaan mahdollisimman moniin näistä Hallituksen esitys päätavoitteeksi Asuminen: Espoon määrällisten tavoitteiden asettaminen opiskelija- asuntotuotannolle.
