2 Alueapurahojen tarkoitus •Edistää rotaryhengen mukaisia humanitaarisia hankkeita, joiden tarkoitus on: –Parantaa terveydenhuoltoa –Tukea koulutusta –Lieventää köyhyyttä

3 Alueapurahojen hakuprosessi •Alueapurahojen hakuaika –Piirin rotarisäätiökomitea julistaa alueapurahat haettavaksi vuosittain tammikuussa –Klubien on jätettävä alueapuraha-anomus 15.03. mennessä –Alueapuraha-anomus jätettävä joko sähköpostitse tai postitse em. päivämäärään mennessä

4 Alueapuraha-anomuksen sisältö Hanke on vapaamuotoinen josta selviää: •Mitä tehdään •Miksi tehdään •Milloin tehdään •Missä tehdään •Miten tehdään, henkilöresurssit •Millä tehdään, budjetti. Tulot: omat varat, säätiön varat ja muut mahdolliset varat. Menot: mihin varat käytetään.

5 Hakijan kvalifioituminen •Hankkeen toteuttajan on kvalifioiduttava (Memorandum of Understanding, MoU) –Piirillä ja klubeilla tulee olla sellainen rakenne, infrastruktuuri ja osaaminen, että ne voivat vastuullisesti toteuttaa aikomansa hankkeen. –Käytännössä tämä edellyttää että piiri ja klubit ovat kvalifioituneet eli rekisteröityneet ja järjestävät koulutusta. –Kvalifioitumisesta tulee olla maininta hankeanomuksessa. –Rekisteröitymätön klubi saa korkeintaan 2000 euron apurahan ja usean rekisteröimättömän yhdistyksen yhteinen hakemus korkeintaan 4000 euron apurahan. –Hakevan klubin edellytetään tehneen lahjoituksen viimeisten kolmen vuoden aikana, esim. PDF, Rotarysäätiön (TRF) vuosirahastoon.

6 Alueapuraha-anomusten käsittely •Piirin rotarysäätiökomitea käsittelee alueapuraha-anomukset. •Rahat myönnetään rotarypiiriltä 1420 ja rotarysäätiöltä (The Rotary Foundation, TRF) saatujen varojen puitteissa. •Piirin rotarysäätiökomitea julkistaa apurahojen saajat 15.04.

7 Alueapurahojen tilitys klubeille •80 % alueapurahasta tilitetään klubille rotaryvuoden alussa 31.07. mennessä. •20 % tilitetään sen jälkeen kun hanke on toteutettu ja loppuraportti tullut hyväksytyksi piirin Rotarysäätiökomiteassa

8 Hankkeen loppuraportti •Hankkeen toteuttaminen raportoidaan piirin rotarysäätiökomitealle: –Hankkeen loppuraportti on jätettävä viimeistään 12 kuukauden kuluessa tai 2 kuukauden kuluessa projektin rahojen käyttämisestä. –Hankkeen loppuraportti jätettävä ”individual project report” – muodossa (seuraavan sivun kuva, mikä löytyy google: ”district simplified grant report”). –Piirin rotarysäätiökomitea toimittaa klubin raportin Evastoniin rotarysäätiölle (The Rotary Foundation, TRF). –Loppuraportti sisältää kuvauksen hankkeen etenemisestä, hankkeesta hyötyneet, toteutukseen osallistuneet ja rahojen käytön. –Hankkeen kuitit on säilytettävä klubissa mahdollista toiminnantarkastusta varten. –Raportin allekirjoittaa klubin puheenjohtaja.
